I like to share an astonishment I had on this Monday. By chance it happened to participate in a function of 77th birthday of a genius belonging to pallippuram village of cherthala taluk.He is one Dr. C.K. Chandrasekharan Nair. There was a public meeting in the hall of local panchayath.what is surprising is that most of the assembled... even the neighbors... knew only on that day... that too from the lectures of eminent persons attended.... that the old respected person is not only a neighbor of them but he is the author of more than 50 valuable printed books covering all literary fields and, philosophy. He is a holder of 3 post graduations in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. He had got doctorate from university of Kerala in 1981. Sri. P.C.Thomas former MP of muvattupuzha and former minister in the Vajpayee govt happened to attend had disclosed these matters while he spoke as a former student of Nair. Nair is still continuing his literary works even. In this age of publicity for any deserving and undeserving activity his case is an exception this proves that. Publicity is not always quality and quality is not a gate to publicity.
